The features available in the VoIP Domain make the interface a highly effective and simplified telephony administration center. All features are integrated and available by default, keeping the high standard found only on commercial competitors.
Quality Control
All calls made by the devices connected to the servers managed by VoIP Domain generate records with connection information, including connection quality information, with information about *jitter*, packet loss and latency for both directions (sent and received data), as well as the codec used, which is presented in the reports with their respective *MOS* to assess the quality of the connection. This feature makes it easier to identify problems with equipment and network gateways.
Auto Provisioning
The auto provisioning system allows the configuration of IP telephones to be made transparently without the need for manual configuration on the equipment. This is done through settings on the DNS server that indicate which server auto provisioning the machine should look for by the settings. These configuration files are automatically generated by the system when an extension is registered, so that no intervention is required on the equipment. Coupled with the use of switches with Power Over Ethernet (POE) support, which dispenses the power adapter of the phones, you can only connect the phone to the local network and it will have power and automatic configuration. This allows you to manage systems with thousands of phones with minimal intervention and reducing maintenance needs.
Least Cost Route
The least cost route system is based on the cost of connections from rules registered at the connection gateways for the public switched telephone network (PSTN) in the system. These rules can be registered through a mask for the ITU E.164 standard (for example, +55 51 [2-5], and this mask selects the Brazil code, 55, Rio Grande do Sul area code, 51 , and the first digit of the number from 2 to 5, ie, landline). There is also the Brazilian plug-in for the ANATEL standard, with values for fixed location, national long distance steps, values for mobile phones and values for international long distance based on the groups defined by the agency. The system calculates all registered gateways in the system by ordering from the cheapest to the most expensive, and executing the connection respecting this order, that is, always seeks to make the connections in the most economical way possible, thus reducing costs for your company.
Reports
The system provides various reports, from simple list of connections, financial reports by extension, group, cost center, gateway, server, etc..., as well as dynamic and interactive charts on the use and cost of connections on each server. All reports have export options (in XLS, CSV, JSON and PDF format), copy to clipboard and print. Exporting in JSON and CSV format facilitates developers and administrators to work with data on their systems.
Modular System
The interface has several modules, which can be run on one or more servers spread across your network. If a service is consuming a lot of resources from one server, you can move it to another server and access it remotely, so that in addition to load balancing, you can manage a distributed network with multiple servers accessing the same remote resource. An example of this is the lowest cost route system, which can be run on a standalone server if you have a large volume of outbound connections, and these connections can be made on several network servers managed by a single administration interface, which can also be run on a separate server.
Auditory
All actions taken by administrators in the administrative interface of the VoIP Domain system are auditable. Audit reports can be generated showing all actions taken by administrators, as well as values that have been added, removed and changed, allowing you to know who has performed an action, the values that were changed in order to retrieve changed information easily. These reports can also be exported to various formats, such as XLS, CSV, JSON and PDF, copied to transfer area or printed.
